Chiquitita / Abba

ABBA. 는스웨덴 출신, 두 쌍의 부부로 이루어진 혼성 그룹입니다.수많은 히트곡을 불렀던 스웨덴을 넘어 전 세계 우리 세대의 전설적인 그룹입니다. 그룹  ABBA. 는,동시대의 보니 엠(Boney M), 저니(Journy), 에어 서플라이(Air Supply), 스콜피언스(Scorpions), 비지스(Bee Gees), 칭기즈칸(Dschinghis) 등등의 그룹과 함께 대중들에게 가수로서 명성을 떨쳤습니다. 우리나라에서도 잘 알려진 과 함께 Chiquitita도 한국에서 많은 사랑을 받았던 곡이죠. ​Chiquitita는 '작고 귀여운 여자 아이'라는 뜻의 스페인 말로, 이 곡은 1979년 발표 앨범인 <Voulez - Vous>에 수록된 곡입니다.

 

 

새로운 출발과 새로운 생에 도전하는 새봄이 코 앞에까지 왔습니다. 그러나 코로나는 여전히 우리들의 삶을 위협하는군요. 코로 나펜더믹이 끝나면 세상은 우리가 예측했던 것보다 30년 먼저 변화가 앞당겨질거라며 미래를 알고 대비하라는 학자들의 목소리가 급하게 들립니다. 그러나 ' 호랑이에게 10번 물려가도 정신을 바짝 차리면 된다'는 말에 위로를 받습니다.  작고 어린 소녀에게 마음을 열어보라고 조심스럽게 이야기하는  Chiquitita 가사처럼 , 마음을 활짝 열고 새 봄을 맞아할 준비를 해야겠네요. 나에게 힘내라는 응원의 메세지로 오랜만에 혼성 그룹 ABBA. 의 Chiquitita를 들어 봅니다.

Chiquitita 감상하기

 

1977년 2월에 열렸던 오스트레일리아 공연은 『ABBA The Movie』라는 기록 영화로 제작되어 전 세계 극장에서 동시에 개봉되기도 했습니다., 그리고 ABBA는 1979년 1월 9일에는 유엔 본부에서 마련하였던 ‘불우 아동을 위한 기금 마련 자선 콘서트(UNICEF Charity, Concert)’에서 Chiquitita흫  불러  불러 찬사를 받은 곡입니다. ^^  그리고  ABBA는 스웨덴 국왕으로부터 스웨덴의 국위 선양과 외화 획득에 공헌했다는 이유로 공로상을 받기도 했답니다.
